Dr. Monica Moon grew up in the Northern Virginia area, having graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology (TJHSST) and then from the University of Virginia (UVA). At UVA, Dr. Moon graduated with honors and majored in both Chemistry with a Biology specialization and also Psychology. Dr. Moon then graduated with multiple honors from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry.

Dr. Alicia Yim

Dr. Alicia Yim was born in Alexandria Hospital and grew up in Northern Virginia. She attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she earned her degree in Fashion Merchandising and continued her post-baccalaureate studies at George Mason University. Later she attended the Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Dr. Colin Odland grew up on a farm in Northern Iowa before attending Iowa State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Odland then graduated from the University of Iowa College of dentistry and then practiced in West Des Moines, Iowa before moving ti Alexandria.

Dental Hygienist: Noelle

Noelle attended Rutgers University and Eastern International College. She loves her career as a dental hygienist and has a heart for every patient she treats. Noelle strives to improve her patients' dental IQ and experience when seeing her.

Noelle is originally from New Jersey and is excited to explore the Northern Virginia and greater area. In her spare time, Noelle likes to cook, exercise (weight lifting, hiking, playing various sports) and spend time with her friends and family.

Dental Hygienist: Madison

Madison is passionate about both her professional and personal growth. She enjoys golfing, hiking, attending National Community Church, and cherishing quality time with friends. Outside of work, Madison is dedicated to staying active, building meaningful relationships, and petting as many dogs as possible.

Originally from Indiana, Madison graduated from Indiana University South Bend and carries her Hoosier spirit wherever she goes.

Patient Coordinator: DJ

has over a decade of experience in the dental field, bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every challenge. Known for her problem-solving skills and ability to thrive under pressure, DJ consistently delivers exceptional results, even in high-stakes situations.

Outside of the workplace, DJ is passionate about creating memorable experiences and bringing people together. Family is at the heart of everything she does, and she believes in fostering a supportive and collaborative environment both professionally and personally.

Originally from the Philippines, DJ completed her Master of Science in Health Management from the Catholic University of America.

Courtney has been a dedicated professional in the dental field for over a decade. With a genuine passion for her work, she takes great pride in helping patients achieve and maintain healthy smiles. Courtney is also deeply committed to promoting oral health and wellness within the community.

Outside of her career, Courtney enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones. She has a passion for cooking and takes great pleasure in planning memorable vacations for her friends and family each year.

Patient Coordinator: Nathalia

Nathalia has over 5 years of administrative dental experience and has lived in Northern Virginia for nearly her entire life. She is passionate about helping patients understand their dental insurance and treatments, ensuring they feel informed and confident in their care.

Outside of work, Nathalia enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking with her dog, and baking creative desserts. She also has a love for traveling and exploring new destinations.

Dental Assistant: Evelyn

Evelyn was born in Guatemala and has lived in Northern Virginia for nearly her entire life. She is deeply dedicated to ensuring patient satisfaction and is known for her hard work, caring nature, and patience.

Outside of work, Evelyn loves spending time with her family and her two dogs, Jessy and Snoopy. She enjoys traveling, exploring new places, and discovering different restaurants along the way.

Dental Assistant: Liyou

Liyou was born and raised in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia. After graduating with honors from Alterius Career College, she has spent over 8 years in the dental field as a dedicated dental assistant.

Patients and coworkers alike appreciate Liyou’s kindness and easy-going spirit, often describing her as a hard worker, a true professional, and a great listener.

Outside of work, Liyou enjoys gardening, growing fresh vegetables, baking, and spending quality time with her family.

Cinthia is a dental assistant who brings positivity and joy to everyone she meets. Her vibrant energy creates an uplifting atmosphere in the office, making patients and coworkers alike feel at ease.

Outside of work, Cinthia enjoys spending time in nature, whether it’s through gardening, hiking, or taking road trips to explore new places — or simply returning to Tennessee! She believes in the power of humor to connect with others, always aiming to make people laugh and brighten their day. Almaz grew up in Ethiopia and earned her BA in Foreign Language and Literature from Addis Ababa University. After several years of teaching, she immigrated to the U.S., where she completed dental assistant and radiology training at NOVA.

With 10 years of experience in the dental field, Almaz specializes in restoration and cosmetic dentistry. She is passionate about helping patients achieve beautiful, healthy smiles.

Currently residing in Springfield, VA, with her husband and two children, Almaz enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending quality time with her family and friends outside of work.
